Ivory, golden honey, and rust—this hand-carved onyx box carries the warmth of desert light and mineral earth. Rectangular in form yet sculptural in presence, it is carved from a single block of natural stone with a fitted lid that rests seamlessly in place. Each vein of color tells its own story of pressure and time, ensuring no two boxes are ever alike.
Use it to store jewelry, bath salts, matches, spices, or keepsakes. Place it on a shelf, vanity, or table where it can exist as both a functional vessel and a still object of beauty. Designed in California, carved by hand in Balochistan, and finished with care in our San Diego studio.

Onyx is a natural stone, stunning but not bulletproof. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh detergents. Read more here.
Each piece is sealed with food-grade beeswax. Refresh every 6 to 12 months by warming a small amount of oil or wax into the surface, then buffing gently with a soft cloth.

Made with natural gemstones and gold-plated or gold-filled chains, SAÉA jewels are designed for everyday wear.
While our jewelry is water-resistant, prolonged water exposure is not recommended. To preserve its finish, avoid wearing in pools, hot tubs, saltwater, or during heavy sweating. Store dry when not in use.

Onyx forms in slow, mineral-rich pockets underground — layers laid down over thousands of years. Each slab is split once, then carved by hand, which is why no two pieces share the same ribboning.
We keep the walls thin so light passes through when the piece sits on a window ledge.
