This one came up green. An apple-green field broken by a dark web of the host rock it hardened inside, left in place instead of cut away. Set in a hand-worked sterling silver bezel, beaded at the edge and stepped along both flanks. The setting is made the same way each time. The web running through your stone matches no other. Worn, you become the vein that runs different in the room.

MAKE — Rare Australian opal cabochon, sterling silver bezel and bail. Beaded border, stepped silver flanks, heavy bail. Natural stone only. No dyes, no synthetics.
FORM — A single 1.5" oval cabochon, dark matrix webbing drawn across a green field. One stone at center, nothing competing with it.
WEAR — Five lengths, one stone. Black leather cord for a quieter line; sterling silver for weight and shine. Wipe dry. Keep the stone and the cord out of water, perfume, and oils.
