Jasper takes its color from the ground it formed in: iron for the warm tones, other traces for the greens and creams, webbed through with the dark matrix of the host rock. This necklace runs a full spread of it — cream, blush, sage, apricot, pale blue-green — each slab a different reading of the same mineral family, broken up by red disc beads. Strung as freeform slabs, it sits at the base of the neck with real weight. Vintage; the only one of its kind. No two strands run the same spread; the stone decides the run, so yours arrives exactly as this is. Worn, you become the vein that runs different in the room.
