Dyed shell pearl cut into flat tiles, each one banded and streaked where the nacre took the color unevenly — warm amber deepening to burnt orange, no two faces the same. Between them, faceted glass crystals catch the light and break up the run of color. The shell keeps its own soft luster under the dye, the way the inside of a shell always does.
It stretches on to sit close at the wrist, the tiles lying flat against the skin. Worn alone it reads as one warm band of color; stacked, it warms up whatever it sits beside. Keep it dry and out of chemicals — the dye and the nacre both prefer it.

FORM — Flat rectangular shell tiles set edge to edge, clear crystal beads between. A wide, warm band around the wrist.
WEAR — Stretch fit, slips over the hand. Wipe with a dry cloth; keep off water, perfume, and chemicals. Store flat, away from harder pieces.
