It comes up out of the ground already this color. Soft lemon-yellow stone, clouded with paler drift, each curved panel reading a little different from the one beside it. The stones are cut to curved rectangles, polished smooth, and strung close on a hidden stretch cord, so the band reads as one carved cuff that bends to the wrist. The stone is consistently cut. The arm it settles on is not.
It slides on over the hand, no clasp, and holds where it sits. Keep it off hard knocks and out of standing water; stone chips at the edge if it's dropped on tile. A dry cloth is the whole plan.
