Trade pricing on every piece in the studio from the day you're approved, with no minimum order. Keep ordering and your rate goes up.

Order by color tone
We sort every piece by color. The photo on a listing is a reference, and what arrives carries the same tones. When a listing shows the exact piece, it says so.

Reserve what you've paid for
Once a piece is paid for, it's yours. We set it aside at the studio and ship it when your project is ready, so it can't go to anyone else in the meantime.

Tax-exempt orders
Send us your resale certificate once and your trade orders go through without sales tax.

You talk to the people who choose the stone. Sizes, weights, finish, what's coming in the next crate: ask, and we'll tell you straight.

Forms that come back, and custom work
Our shapes are designed here and made again, so one bowl can repeat across a whole project. We also take custom commissions, from small decorative pieces to large furniture. We work with many kinds of stone through suppliers we trust, so if a project needs a color you don't see, ask us.

No tier has a fee. We add up your trade orders from the last 12 months, after your discount and before tax and shipping, and email you when you move up.

What you'll need
- Your business name, and a website or Instagram that shows your work.
- One of these: a business license, a resale certificate, or a membership card from a design association such as ASID, IIDA or IDS.
- A resale certificate, if you'd like tax-exempt orders.

The stone
Raw on purpose
Our onyx comes from Balochistan. Artisans shape and sand every piece by hand with saws, grinders and chisels, and we finish it in San Diego with beeswax instead of chemical polish.
Polish would make the stone shinier and more alike. We'd rather your client gets it the way the Earth made it: banded, translucent where the light gets in, and a little different from every other piece in the crate.
Questions
Before you apply
Is there a minimum order?
No. Order one vase for a powder room or dress a whole house. Trade pricing is the same either way.
How do I move up a tier?
Just keep ordering. Every trade order counts toward your tier, and we check every quarter, move you up ourselves, and send you a note when it happens. Once you reach a tier, you keep it until your yearly review, so no rate changes in the middle of a project.
Can I order more than one of the same piece?
Yes. Our forms are made again, so a bowl or a vase can repeat across a project. Tell us how many you need and the color tone you want, and we'll match the set as closely as the stone allows. Every piece still carries its own vein.
Does trade pricing work with other codes?
Trade pricing doesn't combine with other discount codes. It already covers the whole studio.
How do tax-exempt orders work?
Email your resale certificate to hello@saeadesigns.com after you apply. Once it's on file, trade orders ship without sales tax.
Do you take custom commissions?
Yes, at any scale: a set of trays in a color we don't stock, or a dining table in stone. We have access to many more stones and colors than you see online. Tell us about the project and we'll tell you what's possible.
