Taken straight from the ocean, Abalone doesn't take its color from a dye bath. Nacre lays down in thin living sheets against the inside of the shell, and light moving through those layers throws back blue, green, and pearled silver — an optic no synthetic can copy. This pendant is cut from one piece of shell, polished until that shift in color moves when you do. No two shells run the same swirl.
Set in a 14k gold-filled bezel and hung from a fine gold-filled chain, it sits low at the collarbone, doing quiet work — the kind of piece you forget until the light finds it. The chain adjusts from 14 to 18 inches, so it can sit high and close or drop just past the throat.
