Cognac stone with a garnet burning at its center. This is Balochistan onyx at its richest: a golden-amber lid swirling like burl, opened by a deep garnet-red patch and a pane of sage gone clear where the light gets through. The finial bands cream and amber over a quartz base. The body pours the same warm current to a stepped foot. The carver kept all of it. One of a kind. The exact piece you'll receive.
Keep rings and watches in it on a dresser, cufflinks or keepsakes on a desk, small things you want to close a lid over. Wipe dry; keep out of standing water.

Each piece is sealed with food-grade beeswax. Refresh every 6 to 12 months by warming a small amount of oil or wax into the surface, then buffing gently with a soft cloth.

Onyx forms in slow, mineral-rich pockets underground — layers laid down over thousands of years. Each slab is split once, then carved by hand, which is why no two pieces share the same ribboning.
