Three forms, one break in the block. Balochistan onyx opened somewhere new, and this is what it gave first: quieter stone, softer veining, the palette the block leads with before it goes loud. One took a straight line — flared base, square shoulders, a gold band at the throat. One cracked mid-carve and kept the scar, a diagonal fracture bleeding gold and rust down a cream cylinder. One stayed almost silent, tall and footed, blush-cream with gold pooling low where the vein finally surfaced.
Choose the form that's yours. What you see is the exact piece you'll receive, and once it's chosen, that particular stone is gone.
STRATA · VEIN · WEIGHT
STRATA — Single-source Balochistan onyx, hand-carved, finished in San Diego. Each piece cut from its own break in the block.
VEIN — Geometric: cream field, a single gold band circling the neck. Cylinder: cream field split by a diagonal fracture veined in gold and rust. Footed: near-solid blush-cream, gold pooling low near the foot. The photos guide you to color; they aren't a contract.

Each piece is sealed with food-grade beeswax. Refresh every 6 to 12 months by warming a small amount of oil or wax into the surface, then buffing gently with a soft cloth.

Onyx forms in slow, mineral-rich pockets underground — layers laid down over thousands of years. Each slab is split once, then carved by hand, which is why no two pieces share the same ribboning.
We keep the walls thin so light passes through when the piece sits on a window ledge.
