Mother-of-pearl was never manufactured. It was grown; layer over layer, slow, inside a shell, before any hand touched it. We set that field in gold and centered it with a single green emerald stone. Worn, it sits at the hollow of the throat and catches whatever light is in the room. The pendant is consistently made; you are not. Put it on and you become the one who wears it differently.

SAÉA takes its name from سایہ — shade, shelter, protection. We work in two materials: hand-carved onyx pulled from single-source Balochistan, and gemstone jewelry built to outlast its trends. Every piece is finished by hand in San Diego.
