Mineral-rich water worked into cavities in the host rock and iron and manganese crystallized outward in branches, the way frost takes a window. The dendrites are a coincidence of chemistry, not a fossil. They have been sitting inside this stone since long before there was anything to compare them to. One of one. A milk-white teardrop, half translucent, with dark green dendrites climbing from the base and scattering into flecks near the point. Grey banding runs behind them where the chalcedony layered. Set in a hand-worked sterling silver bezel, rope-twisted at the edge. No other stone branches this way. Worn, you become the vein that runs different in the room.

MAKE — Natural dendritic agate cabochon, sterling silver bezel and bail. Rope-twist border, heavy bail. Natural stone only. No dyes, no synthetics.
FORM — A single 1.5" teardrop, dark dendritic branching across a translucent white field. One stone at center, nothing competing with it.
WEAR — Five lengths, one stone. Black leather cord for a quieter line; sterling silver for weight and shine. Wipe dry. Keep the stone and the cord out of water, perfume, and oils.
