A rare piece one of a kind. The stone reads as a milky pale green/celadon field with distinct burgundy-and-white patches: deep wine-red blooms ringed in crystalline white, scattered across the body and wrapping the foot. Less amber/rust than the last piece; the patches here are cooler and more purple-toned.No two veins run the same. This one is the only one.
Set it where the light moves. Watch the stone answer.

DETAILS
Hand-carved natural onyx, single-source Balochistan, finished in San Diego. Sealed with food-grade beeswax — no resins, no dyes, no toxic finishes. Each vase is turned from a solid block; the sage field, amber patch, and dark seam are natural to this stone and unique to this piece. Dimensions: 8" × 3". Weight: 1.5 lb. Holds dried stems as shown; for fresh stems, use a glass insert to protect the seal.

SAÉA — سایہ — the Urdu word for shade, shelter, protection. Load-bearing, not decoration. We carve single-source onyx in Balochistan and finish each piece by hand in San Diego, slow and small-batch. Real has weight. You can't hand down a password.

SAÉA Stones
Onyx is a natural stone, stunning but not bulletproof. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh detergents. Read more here.
Each piece is sealed with food-grade beeswax. Refresh every 6 to 12 months by warming a small amount of oil or wax into the surface, then buffing gently with a soft cloth.

Made with natural gemstones and gold-plated or gold-filled chains, SAÉA jewels are designed for everyday wear.
While our jewelry is water-resistant, prolonged water exposure is not recommended. To preserve its finish, avoid wearing in pools, hot tubs, saltwater, or during heavy sweating. Store dry when not in use.
