Larimar comes from one hillside in the Dominican Republic and nowhere else on Earth. Volcanic gas pushed pectolite up through the basalt and it cooled blue. White marbling runs through it the way light runs through shallow water. This is the one you get.

ORIGIN
Larimar is blue pectolite, and it exists in one place: a single mountainside in the Barahona province of the Dominican Republic. Volcanic gas forced the mineral up through basalt tubes, and copper in the rock turned it blue on the way. Every piece that exists came out of that one hill.
