An olive green center, translucent where the wall thins, banded the whole way out in brown, caramel, rust and cream. The striations run in layers, the way the block laid down. No chemical polish. Beeswax instead.
This is raw, natural stone. Each piece is entirely unique, making your piece yours alone.
STRATA · VEIN · WEIGHT
STRATA — Single-source Balochistan onyx, split once, carved by hand.
VEIN — Olive green center framed in warm brown, honey, caramel, rust and cream banding, with mineral clouding through the layers. Held to light, the thin walls go honeyed green and amber.
WEIGHT — Heavier than a ceramic tray of the same footprint. Two to two and a half pounds, and it stays where you set it.

Each piece is sealed with food-grade beeswax. Refresh every 6 to 12 months by warming a small amount of oil or wax into the surface, then buffing gently with a soft cloth.

Onyx forms in slow, mineral-rich pockets underground — layers laid down over thousands of years. Each slab is split once, then carved by hand, which is why no two pieces share the same ribboning.
We keep the walls thin so light passes through when the piece sits on a window ledge.
