We keep the walls thin so light passes through when the piece sits on a window ledge.

SAÉA is a woman of color–owned small-batch design studio based in San Diego, CA. We celebrate natural stone, cultural heritage, and the philosophy of wabi-sabi—honoring the quiet beauty of handmade, imperfect things.
Onyx is a natural stone — beautiful, but not bulletproof. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh detergents, citrus, and prolonged direct sunlight. Each piece is sealed with food-grade beeswax; refresh every 6 to 12 months by warming a little wax into the surface and buffing.
