one of one
Every piece is hand-carved from raw stone. Veining, color, translucency — no two are identical. The piece you receive is the only one of its kind.

We only made 100 pieces. Available for pre-order only to reserve your piece when it arrives. Marble older than the hands that shaped it. This is Calacatta Vagli. A near-white field carries bold charcoal veining that breaks across each coaster and climbs the holder, so the five pieces read as one block cut five ways. No two cuts of this stone carry the same veining. The pattern on the set you receive is its own. This is the bar at day's end. A coaster under the glass, the holder keeping the other four stacked and close.
STRATA — Single-source Balochistan Calacatta Vagli marble. Cut and hand-finished.
VEIN — A near-white field crossed by bold charcoal and grey veining, dark and branching where the seams run deepest. The photo guides you to the color; it isn't a contract.
WEIGHT — About 2 lb of solid marble across the set.
Cut from Mehrgarh-adjacent Balochistan, among the oldest making-grounds on Earth. Finished by hand. The strata occurs once. Earth, unobscured.
SAÉA — shelter · refugio · پناه
Made by earth. Shaped by hand. Kept by you.

Onyx forms in slow, mineral-rich pockets underground — layers laid down over thousands of years. Each slab is split once, then carved by hand, which is why no two pieces share the same ribboning.
We keep the walls thin so light passes through when the piece sits on a window ledge.

No two pieces alike. No factory finish. Just raw onyx, hand-carved by artisans in Balochistan and finished in our San Diego studio.
