Ivory and soft stone—this hand-carved onyx vase embodies restraint and quiet beauty. Predominantly creamy white and milky ivory, the surface is gently interrupted by faint blush, honey, and sand-toned specks and wisps; subtle mineral markings that reveal themselves slowly in the light.

With its tall cylindrical form and rounded pedestal base, this vase brings a sense of calm structure to any space. Its understated palette makes it especially versatile—equally at home in minimalist, organic modern, or warm neutral interiors. Style it with fresh or dried florals, a single stem, or allow it to stand alone as a sculptural object.

Each vase is carved from a single block of natural onyx by artisans in Balochistan, Pakistan, and finished in our San Diego studio. These pieces are intentionally more minimal in appearance, with lighter coloring and quieter patterning. Because onyx is a natural stone, no two vases are exactly alike; the piece you receive will be similar in tone and form to those shown, but may feature slightly different speckling, veining, or color placement.

— the origin

carved from a single stone.

Onyx forms in slow, mineral-rich pockets underground — layers laid down over thousands of years. Each slab is split once, then carved by hand, which is why no two pieces share the same ribboning.

We keep the walls thin so light passes through when the piece sits on a window ledge.
