one of one
Every piece is hand-carved from raw stone. Veining, color, translucency — no two are identical. The piece you receive is the only one of its kind.

One of one. The sheen in moonstone is thrown back by layers that formed when two feldspars separated as the stone cooled. Light goes in, meets the layers, comes back blue. Move and it moves with you. Stand still and it goes quiet. A teardrop cabochon, bezel-set in sterling, hung from a strand of opalite. Opalite is glass, made to hold that same milky blue, and it carries the stone without arguing with it. Fifteen inches of it, sterling at the clasp, sitting high on the collarbone with the pendant dropping just below. The setting is made the same way each time. The sheen in yours moves the way no other one does. Worn, you become the vein that runs different in the room.
MAKE — Natural moonstone, opalite glass, sterling silver bezel, bail, and clasp.
FORM — A teardrop moonstone cabochon with blue sheen, strung on round opalite beads.
WEAR — 15" strand, 18" with the pendant. Sits high on the collarbone. Moonstone is soft and chips on impact. Store apart; wipe dry.

Onyx forms in slow, mineral-rich pockets underground — layers laid down over thousands of years. Each slab is split once, then carved by hand, which is why no two pieces share the same ribboning.
We keep the walls thin so light passes through when the piece sits on a window ledge.

No two pieces alike. No factory finish. Just raw onyx, hand-carved by artisans in Balochistan and finished in our San Diego studio.

What you actually get when you choose handmade over mass-produced.
I wanted a different chain length, and Shezal was quick to accommodate. She was communicative, and the turnaround from making the necklace to shipping was fast. I love it. It's exactly what I pictured, with a bit of heft, too, so you can tell it's great quality.
