FORM — A freeform mookaite jasper cabochon, no two edges alike, banded diagonally in cream, rose and deep plum. Open prongs leave the side of the stone bare.
WEAR — Five lengths, one stone. Black leather cord for a quieter line, sterling silver for weight and shine.

ORIGIN
Mookaite jasper comes from the Kennedy Ranges in Western Australia. It began as the skeletons of single-celled radiolaria drifting down onto a shallow seabed. Over millions of years the silica hardened into chert, and iron moving through it left the reds, plums and creams in the bands you see.

Keep this piece dry. Take it off before water, perfume, lotion and oils, and wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after wearing.
Store it flat, apart from harder pieces.
Sterling silver darkens with air over time. A silver polishing cloth brings it back; keep the cloth off the stone.
