One of a kind. The exact piece you'll receive. Water carried silica into a cavity and left it there. It holds a shelf, a stack of books, the end of a mantel. Set it where raking light crosses the face and the crystal catches all of it. What formed is this. Hundreds of small domes pushing out of the face, each one furred in crystal so fine it reads as sugar. Ivory across the body, ochre where iron settled into the crevices. Nothing was carved. The only hand in it cut the base flat so the piece stands.

STRATA — Natural sugar quartz, Brazil. Uncarved. Base cut flat to stand.
VEIN — Ivory botryoidal domes under a fine druzy coat, ochre iron staining through the crevices, banded agate at the back edge. The photo guides you to the color; it isn't a contract.

- Freestanding. Base cut flat; nothing else worked.
- Dust with a dry soft brush. Keep it out of water.
ORIGIN
No hand shaped this. Silica settled into a cavity in Brazilian ground and grew outward, dome on dome, until the space ran out. The only intervention is a flat base, so it stands. Everything else is what the Earth made, with no shortcut that trades honesty for shine. The strata occurs once. Earth, unobscured.

Each piece is sealed with food-grade beeswax. Refresh every 6 to 12 months by warming a small amount of oil or wax into the surface, then buffing gently with a soft cloth.

Onyx forms in slow, mineral-rich pockets underground — layers laid down over thousands of years. Each slab is split once, then carved by hand, which is why no two pieces share the same ribboning.
We keep the walls thin so light passes through when the piece sits on a window ledge.
