No chemical polish. The surface is left raw, so it stays as close to the earth as possible when you touch it.

STRATA — Single-source Balochistan onyx, carved by hand into a footed column.
VEIN — A milk-ivory body, clouded and translucent. Rust streaks fall from the rim on the front, a honey patch sits at the lip, and one pale honey vein runs down the back. There is no second one.
WEIGHT — Eight inches of carved onyx, three inches across.

Onyx is a natural stone, stunning but not bulletproof. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh detergents. Read more here.
Each piece is sealed with food-grade beeswax. Refresh every 6 to 12 months by warming a small amount of oil or wax into the surface, then buffing gently with a soft cloth.
Free ground shipping on U.S. orders over $100. Hand-packed in San Diego using recyclable, plastic-free materials, usually shipped within 1-2 business days.
30-day returns on unused, undamaged pieces. Email us at hello@saeadesigns.com and we will send a return label.
If a piece arrives damaged in transit, send photos of it as it came out of the box to hello@saeadesigns.com and we will refund or exchange it.

Onyx forms in slow, mineral-rich pockets underground — layers laid down over thousands of years. Each slab is split once, then carved by hand, which is why no two pieces share the same ribboning.
We keep the walls thin so light passes through when the piece sits on a window ledge.
