Cut from a single block, then split into base and lid so the seam runs true. Sage-green field across the lid and the small square knob, cool as riverbed stone. Where the light crosses the front it opens into cream and amber, rust threading through in fine bands, and at the corners the color banks dark — brown, umber, almost burnt. The body holds a quieter milk-and-honey field; the lid carries the drama. One of a kind; this is the only piece we made that looks like this. The exact piece you'll receive.
