The deepest run of the block. Where the earlier stones stayed pale, this one banks dark — brown and amber swirled through with oxblood red, olive-green surfacing at the edges, a whole geology turning across the lid. The color moves like weather: rust bleeding into wine, ochre into shadow, the bands folding back on themselves where the stone pooled and set. The knob is cut darkest of all, near-black at the base. The body carries the same storm, quieter, banded ember and plum. One of a kind; this is the only piece we made that looks like this. The exact piece you'll receive.

A lidded box for the surface that gathers small things — rings at the sink, a watch, what leaves your hands at the door. Lift the knob, set the day down, close it. Wipe with a dry cloth. Keep it out of standing water.

Each piece is sealed with food-grade beeswax. Refresh every 6 to 12 months by warming a small amount of oil or wax into the surface, then buffing gently with a soft cloth.
