Cut in two, one half stayed solid denim blue in soft bands; the other opens to a raw druzy pocket — a small cave of unpolished crystal the Earth never closed. Deep periwinkle runs through both, paling toward the edges. Same stone, split once, two faces of one interior. One of a kind. The exact pair you'll receive.

Turn the open pocket outward at one end and the solid face at the other, books held between. Weighty enough to anchor a heavy row. Dust with a dry cloth; keep out of standing water.

Filled grain by grain inside a pocket of old volcanic rock, over a stretch of time no hand can hold. Cut once and polished by hand, one face left open where the crystal never closed. The strata occurs once. Earth, unobscured.
