In hues of cream, honey, rose, and rust—these lidded onyx jars are tiny sanctuaries of stone that keep your most loved essentials safe and grounded. Each hand-carved onyx jar with lid begins in the mountains of Balochistan, where artisans cut and shape the raw stone; it is then finished in our San Diego studio with a coat of food-grade beeswax that enhances the natural veining while keeping the piece completely toxin-free.
Perfect as a spice jar, jewelry box, match holder, salt cellar, or bath-soak vessel, every jar is a one-of-a-kind expression of sustainable, slow design: no resins, no plastics, just solid, timeless stone.

Onyx is a natural stone, stunning but not bulletproof. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh detergents. Read more here.
Each piece is sealed with food-grade beeswax. Refresh every 6 to 12 months by warming a small amount of oil or wax into the surface, then buffing gently with a soft cloth.

Made with natural gemstones and gold-plated or gold-filled chains, SAÉA jewels are designed for everyday wear.
While our jewelry is water-resistant, prolonged water exposure is not recommended. To preserve its finish, avoid wearing in pools, hot tubs, saltwater, or during heavy sweating. Store dry when not in use.

Onyx forms in slow, mineral-rich pockets underground — layers laid down over thousands of years. Each slab is split once, then carved by hand, which is why no two pieces share the same ribboning.
We keep the walls thin so light passes through when the piece sits on a window ledge.
