The stone splits in two — half a pale field of milk-white and celadon threaded with rust, half a dense brown ground where amber and cocoa mineral pack tight against the light side. One tray, two records of the same Earth, meeting down the middle. The raw edge stayed along the rim. The carver didn't chase it smooth. This is one of a kind. The only one we made that looks like this. The exact piece you'll receive.

STRATA — Single-source Balochistan onyx, hand-carved, finished in San Diego. No resins, no dyes.
VEIN — A pale ivory-and-celadon field on one half, a dark brown brecciated ground on the other, split down the middle, with rust veining and a raw edge along the rim. The photo guides you to the color; it isn't a contract.
WEIGHT — 2 lb of multi-vein onyx.

Each piece is sealed with food-grade beeswax. Refresh every 6 to 12 months by warming a small amount of oil or wax into the surface, then buffing gently with a soft cloth.
